Since our foundation in 1999 CEDHA has successfully worked to change the way local and global society understand the impacts of environmental degradation on people. Or work focuses on poor communities as they generally suffer the most from environmental degradation in ways which affect their health, quality of life and daily livelihoods. Through our activities, we give victims a voice before institutions like local councils, national governments, the World Bank the UN and private companies.
Our activities help communities in Argentina, Latin America and around the world protect themselves from the polluting affects of activities such as large scale extractive industries, paper pulp mills, uncontrolled GMOs planting, the lack of sanitation systems or safe drinking water and other cases where environmental degradation affects vulnerable communities. Our aim is to revert development paradigms which systematically push unprotected communities deeper and deeper into poverty.
In order to build local and international campaigns and to protect the victims we assist, CEDHA depends exclusively on donations. Your support, however large or small, will truly help us to protect the environment and defend human rights.
If you would like to help us by making a donation, please fill out the form below or send an email to cedha@cedha.org.ar, indicating in the subject line: I WOULD LIKE TO DONATE!
If you would like to get involved as a volunteer, please contact us at the same address.
